This is the author's experience of the last few days, from the number of printers that come in there are 2 same printer janis and with the same damage model. That is Epson T1100 printer which when turned on just blinking green in the power lamp without any mechanics that move at all.
First to experience this kind of damage the author thinks the damage is on the power supply is unstable or problematic. Then the author try to replace the power supply from a normal printer but in the end there is no change in the printer T1100 aka the same condition is blinking green in the power light. The second step, the author try to change the mainboard with a normal printer and there was a change. The printer is back to normal and usable. So have started to conceal the location of the damage that is on the mainboard, but on what components are damaged? That's a question in the author's mind.
If mainboard flame means not on 2 transistors standing. Neither on fuse nor diode. This is an experiment which, according to the authors, is no risk because the mainboard condition has been error. The author experiment is by replacing IC eeprom with new IC. The location of IC EEPROM is adjacent to the socket pin of the incoming current of the power supply. This EEPROM IC has 8 feet. The following steps the author to replace IC EEPROM:
1. Prepare Blower / steam solder
2. Prepare a new EEPROM IC
3. Remove IC EEPROM on mainboard T1100
4. Install the new EEPROM IC to the T1100 mainboard
5. Backup and Restore using AdjusmentProg / Software reseter
6. See the results
That's what the author did when he found the damage to Epson T1100 printer that only blinks green when press the power button.
Thanks.
